Luke Wilson wrote, directed and stars in this tale about an ex-con who gets more than he bargains for when he takes a job at an old folks’ home.

His beautiful girlfriend (Eva Mendes) having left him and his former partner-in-crime having gone straight on his wife’s insistence, Wendell (Luke Wilson) takes it all affably. But when he comes up against the home’s evil head nurse, Neil (Owen Wilson), he finally makes a stand. Together with three residents, Wendell sets out to undermine Neil’s efforts to rope his charges into forced labour. Along the way, he also manages to win back his lady love.
